Description
The Nook is a well appointed and cosy two bedroom detached (non smoking) house. The upstairs has two large and comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and separate shower. Downstairs there is a sitting room with log burning stove and a separate TV room. The kitchen is large and has a dining table that seats four people. There is an adjoining utilities room and downstairs toilet. The garden features decking, a summer house and BBQ which guests are very welcome to use. There is a small area (suitable for two motorbikes approx) of off road parking at the front and ample on-road parking. The Nook is ideally located in the small village of Croit-e-Caley, situated between Colby and Port Erin in the south west of the Isle of Man. You will be a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and the fantastic Shore pub and restaurant. Countryside walks are available from the doorstep and Colby is a 20 minute walk via a pleasant footpath through the fields. Colby features a small shop and nice pub, the Colby Glen. Port Erin, with its shops, restaurants and fantastic beach is a 5 minute drive or 40 minute walk away and the glorious countryside beyond in this part of the Island can be explored at your leisure. Douglas and the TT course is a 25 minute drive or 40 minutes on one of the frequent buses that are just a short walk from the front door. Overall, the Nook offers the benefits of being just a short journey away from the racing, but quieter and offering a fantastic opportunity to explore the nicest (in our opinion!) region of the Isle of Man.
